The acquisition marks a milestone in DaySmart\u2019s global expansion and deepens its investment in the beauty and wellness sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ounded in 2017, Slick has quickly become one of the UK\u2019s leading independent, non-marketplace salon platforms. Today, over 8,000 hair and beauty professionals rely on Slick. The platform is purpose-built to serve both employed and booth-rental salon business models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Backed by L\u2019Or\u00e9al via its corporate venture capital fund BOLD, Slick provides an end-to-end software platform that enables salons to manage bookings, payments, customer communications, marketing and financial reporting through a single system.
